Install Heltec Boards via Board Manager

Hello everyone

since Heltec recently changed the software for the ESP32 with LoRa, I would like to briefly show the current installation method today.

Previously, it was necessary to load, install, update and then manage the Heltec ESP-Fork via Git, of course for Linux users and a hurdle for Windows beginners.

The new installation via the board administrator has made this more convenient, as well as all functions (LoRa-OLED) have been combined in one library.

We start by entering the URL for the board administrator, to do this, the preferences in the Arduino IDE must be opened, to be opened via File-> Preferences:

^^ enter and confirm with OK. Then open the board manager and enter Heltec in the search bar:

And select and install the desired version. Now reload the corresponding library to use the Oled and LoRa functions of the board. To do this as usual via Sketch -> Include Library -> Manage Libraries... open the library manager and install the library from the screenshot in the desired version:

After the mandatory restart of the IDE, we choose the right Heltec board:

Under File -> Examples -> Examples from own libraries ->Heltec ESP32 Dev we find the preconfigured examples for Oled and Lora, as well as a "Factory Test"

The Sketch Factory_Test runs without having to configure without any problems and first shows the available networks and then sends LoRa packages:

Hallo,
ich möchte durch kleine Projekte LoRa für mich erschließen und nutzen.
Als erstes Projekt würde ich gerne Daten eines BMP280 vom Sender zum Receiver übertragen und auf dem Handy anzeigen. Dazu habe ich ein Tutorial gefunden.#
Nun meine Frage:
Kann ich den Sender ESP32LoRa auch mit einem Akku stromsparend betreiben? Wie kann ich den Akku anschließen? Ich habe keinen Vin-Pin gefunden. Ich würde gerne mittels sleep mode die Laufzeit des ESP auf 3-4 Tage bringen. Ist das realistisch? (Der Akku: 7,4 V 1500mAh. Messinterval: alle 30 Sek. Daten lesen)

Vielen Dank für die Antwort. Bin schon sehr gespannt.
